We need to get out of the hanes that we tend to buy in bulk and maybe get some cutie stuff added to our foot wardrobe. Now weather you make it yourself or buy form somewhere it des not matter but lets start adorning the cute shoes with the right socks, hose, leggings and anything else you can hang off your stems.
I have found the most interesting things HERE
along with my favorite pick from the site is one of the cozy cutie comfort items
I have seem to fallen in love with.
So there is that one summer when you are a kid where you are attending camp or vacation bible school where you took two popsicle sticks and wound yarn around them. Do you still have yours?? does your mother proudly display the disposable piece of scrap ??
well would you if your kid came home with this???
Holy cow this guy has taken something to a new level. I know there is a history out there on this art form but this was the first time i had seen it in larger format with such vibrance.
hats off to your art!
Now, i have a craving for some popsicles and an itching to see if anyone has done something interesting with the ones you make at summer camp.
Now this is what i am talking about.
I have thought that it was a wise idea to recycle your own clothe. Instead of buying new ones you can make them. save some money too with using what is on hand.
A good tip is to use your outdted clothe and give them a little nip and tuck into something unique. Or mayby trim some edges of clothing from winter to make sleeveless shirts and tanks for the summer.
also, you can learn to reconstruct clothing and then get cheap fabric items from your local goodwill store. Now there is a cache of oddities in fabrics.
This is also handy to teach your kids too. They need to think outside of name brands and think that there is only one reason that we wear clothing… for cover and that is it. Forget fashion. Fashion was made for others to make money, same with name brands. They have installed us in a want for their clothing from Birth. Lets start being our own designers like this girl
I would love to see something like this on my table for the fall.
Fall leaf into rose
I would like to see other people doing a cheap craft like this. It looks rather easy. But i will have to see as soon as i can find a tree. (it is hard when you only have a few saplings in your yard)
Ok so my husband is Wanting me to try something I came across. How nifty is this?
Beer Cupcakes
Does anyone have anymore beer recipies? I am specifically looking for guiness and I will keep everyone posted in this subject on weather we try any of this. I am thinking this would be good for the superbowl.
I have to highlight the modest wear revolution. I am thinking we need to change monds on people who still believe that less is better and trashy will get you more me. Yes less and trashy will get you more men but no prince charmings!
I think we need to also invest time in making ourselves unique. We wear things that make us part of someone's cookie cutter. But i think we need to get into the habit of adding our own signature to things. Even if it is buying someone else's style and adding something else to it. We need to get back to being creative. making things beautiful ourselves. We need to also be more accepting to people who wear things that are a little different. They are just being a little more innovative then the rest of you mindless drones.
So as for the pic of the day i give it to a modest clothing site.

Very nice long skirts. Very classy. I am interested in their tunics too. And running at wonderful and reasonable prices I am so tempted to stock up on cothing for the fall there.
As for a specific find on the SHUKR website i have found a top with a cut that looks so flattering.

So, in recent times we need to start embracing different attitudes in our average lives.
I have taken a stance on the fashion industry and have declared fashion revolution to come.
Breaking molds! when we want something to wear we purchase from stores that everyone else does, we wear clothes meant for the best fit on a model, we wear colors that are for the season and do not suit us and so on. I am sick of it!
First thing is the fact that we let hollyweird and other places determine what we wear. Forget it! I am my own person and I should not be ridiculed by a person who is a supposed authority of fashion. Just remember there are two reason why we wear clothes ( other than the law that makes us) We wear them for protective reasons, and for the basic instincts of attractiveness.
We need to consider this to its fullness.
Protective reasons are obvious. But with the attraction reason we MUST start using a little common sense. Especially women.
Example : wear a low cut top showing cleavage, expect to bring in the type of guy who only liked you for your cleavage. If we keep on doing this as a societal whole then we get what we have now, a whole bunch of drooling wolves with no substance coming on to us in rash manners.
as for the men I have no clue. I think you are hopeless until you evolve a little. Esp. the guys in my area. Do not be afraid of wearing what you think looks nice. DO not worry about heckling from others. Do not be afraid to wear what your girl has picked out for you.
Any-who. Off of that particular rant. Here are the pics for fashion today (do not forget there is more on my website here )
Girls, start being modest! get it to the point where you are realizing that you need to drive a guy wild with gracefulness, class, and your mind.
I have seen some wonderful skirts that are made for discrete beauty.
Perfect for a woman like me, to shy to show legs and has never worn a dress with out a pair of shorts under or a pair of thick tights to cover the legs.
I have been writing small blogs here and there and have had a small following on all of them that I thought I would collect all the information on one website that tackles it all. Thank you to all who have supported my smaller blogs I will enjoy seeing you on here and hearing from you .This site will contain random pics for home, fashion, beauty, crafts, arts, design and much more. I will also have tips, tricks and other helpful tools on many different topics. Pretty soon i would like to add a forum, a giveaway, a gallery and more!
I would like to announce that I will be including the first blog site (well the largest advertised) for my local city of Ovid, Michigan ! Local blurbs, reviews, events, pictures, and other ramblings for the area. So if you are local I really would love ot hear from you and hear what you would like to see more of on this site.
