From the bloggers on Painfully Hip.
They have come out with a nice highlight for those thrift store finds. I give great kudos to the blogger and the people who submit the entries. They really give you the want to wear that dress that you will not wear because it is out of "mainstream style" even though you look so good in it!
I appreciate this greatly and will not be afraid to wear my 1940's army green replica dress with the petticoat and the faux alligator open toe heels!
My favorite form their weekly picks
So i know it is tempting to buy something frily from a nice store but i refuse to pay more than 3$ for a panty. Its just me being cheap. and i do not like the idea of buying plain cotton packs of 6. Here is a nice tutorial to get some cutie things. And for those who do sewing nrmally and save clothes for those patch projects, here is soemthing you can use your scraps for!

Great work! I am so interested in reading more from this woman. she seems to have a great talent for sewing and also for instructing. She made it feel like I, too, could do it myself.
Maybe it is time I took on something like this before I settle and try to buy something new. I cannot see myself buying anything unless I need to.
