I would like to say that i might be back

So much time has passed since I have posted. I am embarrassed, but there were so many things that have kept my time busy. Now I have at least one kidless day a week to work on whatever I want and this is a continuation in my DIY projects around the home. Things i will be updating are..

-my veggie garden and other garden maintnance and planting.

-cleaning, sorting a basement which has not been cleaned in years.

-arranging my garage sale.

-finishing off a basement for family and entertainment use.

-my efforts in lawn maintnance.

-design and building wood structures for our yard.

-other clean out projects like closets, garage, vehicles, and so on..

and more!

And then there is the main focus of my life right now.... Starting to build my photography Business.  Kusnier Jones Photography.   kjpics.com

I wanted to expand not only the buisness part but the fact that this city needs to be more documented on photo.

 So with that. i will be starting laundry to get ready to clean the basement.

Photography update!

I know a lot of my readers know that i do photography so i thought i would pop a little update on here.

Things have recently just been slow with the wedding photography.  I have not charged much of anything when it came to pictures.  But now With the help of a very motivated person (thanks melissa!)  we are venturing into opening up Kusnier- Jones Photography here in ovid!

We are aiming on starting with sports team photos for school and independant leagues and so on. We have already ben called for several accountsa and we have started work on digital backgrounds for the layouts. It is very exciting.

You can still see the old stuff i did at soulcapture.com but we will be changing over to kusnierjonesphotography.com and then we will shorten that in time to something more easy to type :)

It was storming

It was raining last night. It was real odd because there was nothing but lightning and thunder for the first hour or so and then I heard the tree line start to make noise like it was blowing in the wind for about 3 minutes, but it was calm where i was standing on my back deck and then it hit me. I was holding an umbrella and it almost turned inside out on my from the blast of wind. Was kinda cool actually. But then it just stormed. I did take some slow exposure pics of the lightning but there were not many bolts, just mostly flashes in the clouds. I did get a few bolts tho,  I was experimenting in camera settings for the conditions and so they are somewhat grainy but it was still fun for me.
