I guess i don't clarify my point very well.
unlike many people who have blogs just to get money, I use mine as a hobby, but being a home maker that brings in 0$ and wants just a little fame (be it for 10 or more readers a day) Yes i have ads. I wanted my own domain and i do have to pay for it somehow since i cannot justify the price of hosting, the cost for the domain and so on, to come from my home or grocery budget. So i am sorry to everyone that i do have ads but Google ads does benefit people like me who just plain cannot afford their own domain. It is not like i get any money in my pocket. I do get some money but at the rate i get it, it will be a year or two until i get paid and by then i can pay off the credit cards that has just my website expences. Plus if i ever make any money it will just go back into promoting my site or buying into faster hosting so i can get more readers and they can have a nice resource.
once again i state..
i do not blog for money, it is a cheap hobby compared to other hobbies i had, i use this mainly for the sharing of ideas and promo of the home maker/thinker and i am offended by those who think different.
so when i take the (unpaid) time and effort to hand read every feedback and get someone who has the wrong idea and is making totally wrong assumptions then i get slightly offended.
here is what i got in my mail

Body: "Interesting, you're complaining about someone removing your links because this isn't an ad site, but you have ads at the top for Reverbnation and ads at the side for whatever google is pushing. An ad site has ads, which this one does. A non-ad site doesn't have ads, which is something you can't say about this site. I stumbled across your site tonight and looked around. I'll keep stumbling. I will, however, be sure to check out "(sorry i am not going to promote them anymore than i have)". If you don't like it, it must be good."

I will clarify. i meant this is not a site i use for income. This person seems to have missed the point. I am not a person that tries to sell to make money. i just want my voice to be heard.
I am an ad site byt i am not an advertiser for my own monetary benefit.
and for another clarification i did not leave garden stew because of the content. I left because i thought it was rude that they took the time to see my posts, remove my links, explain the rules in hand written e mail, all while earning actual incom, but they did not take the time to look at my site real quick to find i would have been no threat for spam, would have been a great contributor, and would have been a good promotional person for them if they had heavy traffic and content.
But i guess i can google for another forum (which i had done for that site) until i find one i do like and will not be rude to bloggers.
As for what they did in general, they forgot the basics of being polite when trying to protect themselves from spammers. I am sorry i have cost them their advertising dollars in dealing with my outrageous spam (mind you it was a madatory greeting i had to make, and a question that would have started a good discussion thread with randomblogging.com as the last line) .. Just be glad i was not a real spammer and you did not have to deal with something that would have actually been annoying and what you were trying to protect yourself from.

So I was inspired to get the list out of the places i frequent on the internet because I have been meaning to and because i encountered something interesting.
First i love the site called
craftsterhas everything you might want in the means of crafting, sewing, creative idea and more. They are really offbeat and different. There is a lot of activity in the means of lots of people posting and plus cool advertisers for the most part.
the second is
get craftyit is a forum that does have few people posting but has some good research in the archives.
There is also the DIY net forums that are awesome too because not only do you have lots of information but you have show resources that coincide with the info.
But as everyone knows i am a blogger and i do small advertising for my blog. I join the message boards and try to get info from people. try to start conversations, build an online network and so on. (i never go to a forum and post un-useful things, i keep up conversation, bring traffic to the forum with new people and so on) So as i was trying to join forums for my gardening I have been posting some questions i had about indoor ivy, and if anyone knew of the fastest harvesting veggies and other things i needed information on i had encountered a website called
gardenstewIt looked nice. looked like it had a little traffic but i was disappointed to find out that one of the rules was that you cannot post a link to your site! In this day and age there is a frown upon anyone who does not allow home pages to be advertised. This is my blog, this is me, just as unique as my email. I do not understand this. I know there is a border where it is advertising for products, services, stores and such but this is a personal site. Non advertised, non income and so on.
So for the e mail that was sent to me stating"I had to remove two of your forum posts as they contained links to your website. Please review our forum rules here (point 1.1). " I responded that i would like my account canceled and that i will be making mention of this on my site. Which is what i am doing. Heck i do not know what i would do if my other forums never let me link. i think that rule is just plain rude and i will make sure everyone knows of this rule from this website.
So as for Gardenstew You get a Green thumb down and i will make sure i do not advertise you in any way shape or form beyond this warning to those who like to link.

I have been recently looking at the old navy styles that are on their website fgor the fall. I am impressed! There seems to be some pretty decent things out now that do not show a lot of indecent things. We have all lived through the Paris hilton miniskirts, the clevage showing tops, and the belly showing mini t's and I was sick of it. As much as we would like to preach to our children "it does not matter what you look like on the outside, it is the inside that counts" But what you wear makes you what is you. If you want to be unique, be prepared to qbe treated different, if you want to dress sexy, be prepared to be treated like an object. In real life you cannot go into an interview wearing a miniskirt or have your hair dyed purple and be taken seriously. If you dress that way, expect to be treated differently than the person who wears the buisness suit and tie.
We need to tell our oversexed teens too to tone it down. The girls were showing way too much skin. what is a guy going to want from you on a first date? You have already shown him everything you have. Lets get back to basics, get back to certain expectations. I believe when you walk into a room, your clothing says a lot about you and also says to other people in a non verbal way if oyu respect them or not. This is why we wear sunday best to church, this is why we cover our feet at the white house. People have just lost their way and the distorted idiots in the fashion industry who thrive on shock value and pretentious art have lowered our society standard on dress.. all for money.
But when i see a refreshing sight like the old navy trapeze and the jumper dresses, it makes me think there is hope for these girls to cover up. Providing there is a sweater to go over the shoulders on the trapeze dresses and there is undershorts and tights for the jumper. :)
